Interview mit Lara Berger von ProChoice Leipzig 🇩🇪:
„Wir als Pro Choice Leipzig rufen dazu auf, am 28.09.2020 um 18 Uhr zum Augustusplatz zu kommen und ein Zeichen für die Problematik von unsicheren Schwangerschaftsabbrüchen zu setzen.
Der ISAD ist bereits seit 1990 ein wichtiger Tag für die feministische Bewegung in Lateinamerika. Seit 2011 rückte er als Aktionstag auch international in den Fokus feministischer Gruppen. An diesem Tag soll auf die nach wie vor in vielen Teilen der Welt unsicheren Schwangerschaftsabbrüche und deren oftmals schmerzhaften bis tödlichen Folgen für die ungewollt Schwangere Person aufmerksam gemacht werden. Wir wollen mit dieser Kundgebung ein Zeichen der Solidarität an die weltweit agierenden Akteur*innen, Gruppen und Netzwerken senden, die sich für die Entkriminalisierung von Schwangerschaftsabbrüchen und für die sichere Durchführung selbiger engagieren. Wir wollen aber ebenfalls darauf Aufmerksam machen, dass unseren Forderungen auch in Deutschland noch nicht nachgekommen wird. Schwangerschaftsabbrüche sind auf dem Papier immer noch illegalisiert und die Betroffenen, die einen Abbruch durchführen wollen, sind immer noch genötigt sich mit Zwangsberatungen und einem sehr unübersichtlichen Feld an Angeboten herumzuschlagen. Und nicht wenige dieser Angebote zielen darauf ab, den Abbruch zu verhindern.
Also kommt zahlreich, um den feministischen Diskurs zu körperlicher Selbstbestimmung wieder in die Gesellschaft zu tragen und den Gegner*innen etwas entgegenzusetzen.
